Sivok's agent claims Everton interest

30/06/2012 | Comments (3)
Everton, Fulham and Valencia have made inquiries about Tomas Sivok according to the defender's agent.

The 28-year-old is out of contract and available on a free transfer if Besiktas decide not to re-sign him on a new contract.

"We have been in touch with Everton, Fulham and Valencia," the Czech international's agent Jiri Muller told"

"Besiktas are very much back in the game."

"It will depend on the offer and Tomas's feelings." Muller continues.

"He wants to quietly think things over because every day there are more clubs showing an interest in his services."

Would rather take Fernandes from them.

Wonder if this means that we have been in touch with Fernandes' agent as well? Is it just me or do we seem to be linked with a lot more free transfer type players than before. I know that everybody knows our financial situation and that a lot of it is probably just rumour but it still seems more than usual. I would hope to some degree that we are showing interest in these players. Many of them seem to be decent enough, would add to our squad and are free.

He's a tall, gangly defensive midfielder who doesn't score goals (16 in 304). Sound familiar? just what we need . not. If this isn't just a rumour then we are in trouble next season as Moyes' favourite RB is another year into his 30's and he had no pace when he was 20. We also haven't found a right winger since Landon went. Hmmph
