Claims that Man Utd are reviving interest
On the basis of nothing substantive, plenty of the internet crowd are touting Leighton Baines to United once again, after their supposed prime target Jordi Alba joined Barcelona.
There's nothing new in the guesswork that claims Everton are looking for between £15M and £20M for their star left back, who played no part in England's Euro2012 demise.

He is gone already... silence from the club speaks volumes.
David - what are you expecting from the club? To substantiate or dismiss every rumour out there? That's a full time job and such a reaction would surely be seen as absolute desperation. EVERY club has these rumours and doesn't feel the necessity to shout them down so why should we???
Despite the dismissive tone of the rumour mill piece, this is more than internet chatter, the Manchester Evening News is a fairly authoritative source. I don't think we've heard the last of this ...
The only way this will happen if is Bainsey wants it himself. Remember the leaked Kenwright conversation when he named the players he absolutely could not sell.
Waiting for Kenwright to come out and say 'We wont sell him for less than 30 million'. Then he will go the next day for less than half that.
Bored of this, in my opinion unless the financial situation at Everton changes Baines will be sold if there is a bid from Man Utd.
I am pretty much resigned to at least one of our best players leaving sadly. If this happens then it is imperative we drive a hard bargain lescott style. I just hope we don't lose any more.
Whilst Kenshite has a pulse he will sell players to retain his position at the club a little longer. If a player goes then it has to be for as much as the club can possibly screw out of the buyer and not some half arsed old boys club del on the never never or involve some crap fringe player as part of the deal.
God this is getting boring now. I think he will go but I don't like the fact it is to United. We will bend over for a paltry fee if its them. 15m is the absolute minimum. Should be looking at more than that in my eyes. 12m would be an absolute insult.
What really makes me angry is the apathy of our supporters. "I'm fed up of this... our best players need to be sold to balance the books etc etc..." Why Oh Why do we need to sell? Because we have had a Chairman who is a Lying Devious Charlatan for the past 10 years. Sometimes I wish we would go into Administration just to get rid of him and his Bloodsucking Cronies.
What will our Admin expenses be this Accounting Period? £25/£30 Million.... And still no-one asks, if we collected £20M plus in transfer fees last year, where has it gone? Why haven't the club reduced its borrowing instead of increasing it?
Oh, I forgot: 83 pence in the pound we take is spent on Finch Farm. Has Green changed his name to Finch Farm? Wake up, Blues Fans ? we are a Rangers waiting to happen.
Allow Baines to move to Man Utd... it's time... but £15-20m? We also allow Rooney to move on, come on...
The fee is £25m ? anything less is travesty, The best left-back in the Premier League for last 3 years running. You don't just get a great defender, you also get great delivery from set pieces, great attacking threat with end product, a penalty expert, and someone who isn't injury prone. If the likes of Henderson are worth £20m, Baines is easily worth £25m.
Just don't get why Utd need him? Isn't Evra the captain? They also have the Brazilian twins and on top of that, they could really do with spending on their midfield and attack rather than spending (I would expect) £25m on Bainesy.
Paper talk, simple as that. Realistically I can't see any of our players going this summer as I'm not sure the few teams with money would want Felli, Baines or whoever - although don't quote me on that.
