Roberto might go for Victor Moses

Wouldn’t be a bad signing. We need younger players with experience and also he doesn’t look like a Mourinho type player so we wouldn’t need to pay through the roof.

Not only Lukaku, also Schurrle is probably pushing Moses further down the pecking order. And he was already on the bench.

I don't mind Moses one bit but I'm already bored of being linked with every Wigan player and ex-player. There are now quotes from a West Ham source that Martinez wants Mohammed Diame. So Martinez, Jones, Lawrence, Bergara, Evans... the confirmed signing of Kone today... and add to that the expected signing of Alcaraz and now Diame and Moses?? Not ruling out the possibility of McManaman or McCarthy

I saw Moses play a few times last season, especially in the Europa knockouts. Thought he looked good and it was a waste of talent sitting on Chelsea's bench most weeks.

He has a lot of plus points age,position(wing/forward) pacey,fairly skilful with an eye for goal! Can see all the merits in this one,but has Bill won the Euro? Or has he been under the mattress, down the sofa or doing a hit on his piggy bank?

Diame,,if he can be signed for the £3.5 million fee in his clause,would be a great signing.

As some people above have stated: Diame for £3.5 m - yes please! Has the mobility to dominate the defensive midfield position in a way that Gibson, Ossie and even Felli could only dream of! Look how often our midfield (Osman being the biggest culprit) were dribbled past last year - it needs to stop if we are supposedly going to be attacking more especially!

However on the subject of Moses - please, please no! Especially not at the prices being quoted. Moses is a typical example of the youth systems in the British game - pacey, direct, powerful and nearly completely lacking in technical ability and a footballing brain. With a bit of scouting I'm sure we could pick up a player with all of the above (including what Moses doesn't have) for a lower sum from a Spanish or South American outlet.

I've no problem with Martinez wanting to augment our squad with players he knows - it's understandable - but within reason! Think big Roberto! But after the Fer anf Kone farce, just don't tell Bill or Elstone when he's having his medical and you could probably sign this talented winger without them reaching for their Reader's Digest family medical book to find something to scupper the deal with!

Decent player with pace and a shot,but not for me. Usually takes one stride too many before trying to cross and would demand big wages.

Very good player imho, put him on the right wing in front of Coleman, hopefully keep Baines and we would then be a real handful from both sides, hope it happens.
