James, I think Strootman, Capoue and Honda are the type of players we should be looking at.

However, I believe that Honda is going to Milan, Capoue we might get if we put a bid in, but Strootman could go to the Bundesliga, maybe Dortmund or Bayern, but it would be brilliant if we could sign any of those 3.

He wouldn't be a bad signing at around the £4 mil mark but remember we need younger players with experience in the squad. Also we need a bigger squad so although I wasn't overly keen on Kone he has signed now so I'm sure him, Anichebe and Jelli will push each other for goals (No competition for Jelavic is what cost us the most last season I felt).

I would have him, a front three of Moses, Kone and Mirallas will strike fear into the opposition. All three have loads of pace. Imagine if we could get Honda to play just behind them and have Fellaini (providing he stays) and Gibson holding, then I think we will have exciting options.

Instead of Moses why not Jimmy Briand of Lyon, would cost half as much, cheaper wages, has a better goal scoring record and they both are very similar in size and style.

Paul it's all a matter of representation...anyone who has seen Moses play, nows he has goals in him, and his sub appearances at Chelski are probaly not an adaquete barometer for his goals potential? He scored 6 for Wigan at the age of 20-21 and managed 10 in all competitions for Chelsea, despite regularly appearing as a sub.

Paul 907, I hate to say this but I think we may see more 'interesting' signings if and when Fellaini and Baines have moved on ie. we'll actually will have the cash to do some business, btw Heitinga being sold for 3/4 mill with Kone, Alcaraz and Robles brought in for a combined total of 5 mill, that's a 2 mill outlay and we've added a striker and upgraded the other 2 positions, I would say that's very good business.

I'd prefer Moses on a season loan with an option to buy. I think £8m is a bit steep but he did impress playing for the chavs in Europe and has plenty of self confidence, and skill/speed. If we keep Bainsey and Fellaini our squad is looking quite tasty.

Shane it wouldn't take long to highlight some comical errors from Howard though would it. I like Howard as a guy but I have been saying for years he costs us points every year with his errors. Moyes had blind faith in him I hope RM doesn't.

Interesting to see a lot of people posting Moses is quick. Never looked it to me. In fact I'd say he's about as similar as you could get to Vic.

The Barca lad is a brilliant aquisition but he'll be carefully nursed and will probably not play 90 minutes every game. When he does play he will keep it on the deck and try to quickly interweave with team-mates. Osman, Pienaar and Oviedo could possibly manage it but big Vic and Jelly might struggle. Mirallis is a law unto himself. A crack player but doesn't like to share things.

According to the Mail, Arsenal, Everton and Fulham have been given the chance to snap up a player hailed as the new Marouane Fellaini for virtually nothing after Junior Malanda emerged from hiding and claimed he was a free agent.

Apparently there is a law (Law 78) which allows a player to walk away from his contract and he has done this, but there is an unwritten law that domestic clubs won't take advantage, but there is nothing to stop an overseas club taking the player. Mind you is he the right sort of character for us?
