Out of the two, Fellaini is the one we could find a replacement for whereas IMO Bainesy is irreplaceable. Hopefully tie up Fernando, Barry and a striker.

Still think he will go.

If they went up to 20m and we got Bruno martins for 10m it wouldn't be the worst news in the world.

Sounds like he will be staying though and in happy with that.

With only two years left on his contract I am starting to think if they can get up towards the £20m mark it might make sense. Maybe anything north of £18m would be good business - plus the £24+ for Fella.

One thing is for sure, nobody could question his loyalty or professionalism at any point whether he stays or goes. Fellaini has been a good servant but his father has done the most damage - hell, he's done some himself in international appearance press conferences - but on the whole I'd be happy to say thanks for the memories and now for the next chapter. Can Oviedo cut it or id there just no confidence in him within the walls of Finch Farm?

Luke Shaw anyone? Can Pochetino turn down a big bid if we have the money to spend on talent that has years ahead of him?

Why are we not interested in a striker who is a Belgian international, has scored goals consistently year after year at all levels of the game (including champions league) and who would not cost too much???

Baines to stay is excellent news. Provided he wants to stay.

I'd quite like Fellaini to go now. Just get it done and get Fernando in.

Although if we sign Fernando AND Barry AND McCarthy we will be hugely over-stocked in central midfield. We still have Barkley, Gibson, Osman...

We need strikers. Especially if Anichebe goes. We will only have 2 strikers at the club then, and one of those is Kone!

Southampton don't seem short of cash right now and Shaw's value will only increase if he continues to impress. I think we would have to offer most of the fee we would get for Baines to prize him away from Southampton. I really hope Baines stays, but only if he is happy to stay!

People keep talking about strikers, but a striker who'd improve our team would cost £15 mil or so. I'd rather we made a last ditch attempt for Ince. That could free Mirallas to challenge Jelavic and Kone up front.

If we sell Fellaini, I'd hope we'd try for Fernando and McCarthy. That would give us more strength in depth in midfield.

Those three signings would be amazing, although unlikely.

Prepare for the same thing in January then... We've gotta stop relying on him for service into the box though; it seems Pienaar is only playing to supply Baines at times.
