Dubious McGeady link re-kindled

News of the injury to Arouna Kone's knee seems to have prompted old links to be rekindled regarding the future destination of Aiden McGeady, who has been classed as wanting away from CSKA Moscow for at least the last two years... Will he now come to Everton?

This one won't go away, can't see how he's a direct replacement for Kone though, maybe the plan is to put Mirallas up front and Mcgeady to replace his position?

A busy Martinez type player who would fit in well. It would also be a realistic signing, unlike the fancy names put forward on various threads from people who live on Fantasy Isand.

I do watch some of the highlights Jamie yes. Hulk, Witsel and Honda are the only ones springing to mind at the moment.

However, Honda is leaving anyway in January as his contract runs out then.

I used to call him McGreedy but I've noticed a bit of growing up in the lad, and a tendency to pass rather than trying to be the new Peter Beagrie. Not the worst signing - if it were ever to be reality - as Pienaar is looking past his best
