Blues interested in Ajax defender

The Times are reporting Everton's interest in Ajax defender Niklas Moisander, although his agent, Soren Lerby, says that he has not received any contact from the Blues regarding his client.

Roberto Martinez is on the look out for reinforcements should John Heitinga move on before the transfer deadline.

Yes. The Heitinga business seems stuck in the mud. When asked about it, Martinez immediately tugged his ear lobe and talked gobblygook.

Niklas Moisander is class. He is solid, fast and has the ability to score every now and then. One of the few Finns with actual leadership in him.

I can't wait for the farcical Friday to start, we will be associated with every player that's available, & end up getting another loan player that's INJURED!
There is NO cash to buy, so we will all sit around listening & hoping for news, of the usual transfer chaos, & end up, as always trying to bring somebody in at the death?
