Martinez tracking Stambouli

Roberto Martinez is eyeing £2m-rated defensive midfielder, Benjamin Stambouli who will enter the final year of his contract at Montpellier this summer.

That's according to The Mirror who claim that Martinez has been watching the 23 year-old's progress, though he could face competition from Newcastle and "a host of other top clubs."

I had a doctor called Stambouli. Lovely fella but as mad as a hatter. I took me lad in to see him when he was 2 and he was screaming. Stambouli came out of his office while in the middle of an appointment and told me to take my lad in to nurses room and strip him down to his pants and he'd be fine. I did it and it worked a treat. I often wonder what would've occurred if I'd have took the missus and she started crying in the waiting room. A missed opportunity I reckon.
Anyway...never heard of this Benjamin lad though!
