Enrique appointment at Barca would doom Everton's Deulofeu hopes?

I doubt if he would go straight into Barca's first team squad whoever is in charge. He would benefit from another season with us in the Premier League plus European experience.

However, the silly season of speculation, rumour and counter rumour is now with us but I am sure Roberto has all this monitored and contingency plans are in place.

To be honest, I don't think Del Boy is good enough for our starting eleven. He's good enough for a good 30-minute substitute appearance when we're in that final third of a match and needing to get something from the game, but he just doesn't do it from the start for me.

I think we are all getting our knickers in a twist over our loaned players. Yes, I'd like to see them stay but if they move on then so do we. I wish them all the luck in the world but we aren't going to fall apart if any, or all, of them leave are we? Roberto will find suitable replacements but we should find out in the next ten days what's going to happen so we can start planning for next season.

Roberto hasn't actually used Deulofeu as much as I'd have liked. He's one of those players who can look awful for 30 mins, then do something that makes football look so easy you wonder why he doesn't just score or set up a chance every time he's got the ball.

If he doesn't come back, we are likely to simply loan another promising, creative young player from a top European club. I'm the type who would like to stick with what we know, but there will be others who like the opportunity to see a new face.

Personally I'd be looking at having all four of our current loan players here next season as a first choice option, as that would minimise the disruption of new players settling in and 'gelling' together, but I have faith in Roberto to know what other options are out there.

If there was a way to keep Barkley, Lukaku, Mirallas and Deulofeu together for the next two or three seasons, we would not only have Champions League football but we'd be Must Watch status for football fans everywhere. Alas, it is only a pipedream.... damnit all!

I feel like Delboy's injury really hampered his season and he hasn't been quite as exciting since. A full season of him starting two of every three games or so and we'd see something special.

Something the article fails to mention is Roberto's role in all this. He can't do the impossible should it come to that, but, to a Catalan like him, all things are possible.

Del is what is commonly called a luxury player. He has incredible speed and ability but is not yet mature enough to know when to take people on, when to release the ball, and when to track back.

Yes, he has scored and created some important goals for us but for me that doesn't mask his deficiencies. We have adequate cover with Pienaar, McGeady and Mirallas to lose any sleep over this one.

Deulofeu has made some good cameo appearances and is exciting at times but if he isn't good enough yet to play regularly for us what would his chances of regular starts at Barcelona be?

Still to be convinced that he's as good as the hype around him and would be surprised if he's anywhere near ready for Bareclona's first team. Whilst Deulofeu has remarkable technical ability and is exciting to watch at times his immaturity or arrogance means he lingers on the ball for far too long, makes the wrong decision and has a tendacy to show boat at the wrong time. On the otherhand what I've seen of McGeady paticularly when he's come off the bench is that there's he's equally technically gifted and there's much more of an end product from him. So for the time being its McGeady over McGreedy for me.
