Bacca move unlikely
They had spurious origins in the first place, coming as they did from the Daily Star, but reports of a move by Everton for striker Carlos Bacca appear to be wide of the mark.
Sevilla chief Monchi has denied that there has been any contact from the Blues for the striker and that, in any case, the Colombian wouldn't satisfy the requirements for a work permit to play in the Premier League.
Bacca had been mooted in the tabloid newspaper and then a succession of similarly speculative outlets as an alternative for Roberto Martinez to Romelu Lukaku who has yet to make up his mind over his future.
