Ben Arfa emerges as unlikely target
Everton are being linked with a move for unsettled winger Hatem Ben Arfa after Roberto Martinez admitted that he is on the lookout for a winger.
Given the Frenchman's erratic attitude – with the obvious caveat being that his manager is Alan Pardew! – it's an unlikely link. Martinez has been insistent on wanting to only bring in players with the right temperament so as not to upset the environment at Finch Farm.
A superbly gifted player on his day, Ben Arfa has fallen out with Pardew at St James' Park and has saw his first-team prospects diminish last season.
