Martinez eyes England U19 prospect
Everton are weighing up a move for Crewe's out-of-contract striker Max Clayton whose move to Wolverhampton Wanderers is in the balance.
The Daily Mail suggest that Roberto Martinez would like to offer the 20 year-old a contract at Everton and there are also claims that Clayton is already on trial at Finch Farm.
Joe Royle is also monitoring Charlton Athletic's Joe Gomez, a 17 year-old central defender is reportedly also being watched by Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United.
