Kevin Mirallas is expected to sign an extended contract that would keep him at Everton until 2019 according to The Mirror.

The Belgian was signed two years ago from Olympiakos and has become one the Blues' most important players so the club are keen to offer him improved terms to make sure he stays at Goodison Park.

The same report also claims that Everton have taken former Burnley, Derby, West Ham and Marseille defender Tyrone Mears on trial. He is a free agent after being released by Bolton Wanderers over the summer.
