Everton in chase to sign Ayew
Everton are reportedly one of five clubs interested in taking Ghanaian winger Andre Ayew on a free transfer next summer after he rejected Marseille's latest contract offer.
The Mirror report that the 24 year-old, who scored two of his country's four goals in the World Cup this past summer, is looking to increase his wages to £50,000 a week but the French club are unwilling to break their wage structure to accommodate him.
Liverpool, Swansea, Hull and West Ham are the other clubs reputedly interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
