Atsu's “early return” mooted again
Suggestions that Christian Atsu could have his season-long loan at Everton cut short have been raised again, with The Mirror claiming that the 22 year-old may have played his last game for the Blues.
The winger is back at Chelsea receiving treatment for a hamstring injury and, if fit, will then link up with Ghana's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
The report says that Jose Mourinho will decide after that whether or not to send Atsu back to Goodison for the remainder of his loan term given that he has featured in only nine games so far since joining Everton in August.
