Martinez eyeing Al-Habsi
Roberto Martinez is considering a loan move for his former goalkeeper at Wigan Ali Al-Habsi according to Goal.com.
The Catalan hinted that he would consider dipping into the January market for goalkeeping cover following Tim Howard's calf injury and a loan move would make sense given his high opinion of the American.
Howard recently signed a contract extension that would keep him at Goodison for another four years.
Whether Al-Habsi is one of his targets remains to be seen, particularly as he would likely be involved in Asia Cup action for Oman in Australia next month.
