Vague Marshall link
Cardiff's David Marshall and QPR's Alex McCarthy are mentioned as "potential replacements" for Everton with Joel Robles possibly heading back to Spain according to a report by MailOnline.
Roberto Martinez has hinted at the possibility of bringing in a new goalkeeper this month with Tim Howard injured until early February but there doesn't appear to be much weight behind the speculation in this particular report.
Along with John Ruddy, Marshall is perhaps the most likely target outside of the Premier League while John Ruddy Sergio Romero of Sampdoria and Feyenoord's Erwin Mulder "have also been mentioned" as targets for Martinez.
A recent link to Ali Al-Habsi is apparently wide of the mark.
