Move for El Shaarawy is latest story
Transfer rumours surrounding Everton are suddenly emanating from Italy where the latest claim is that Everton are eyeing Stephan El Shaarawy as a replacement for Samuel Eto'o.
Hot on the heels of suggestions that Alexandre Pato is on Roberto Martinez's shortlist for this month, the versatile forward is the latest name to be linked with the Blues.
The report posits that the 22 year-old is one of the few expendable players AC Milan could sell for cash at the moment.
Update The rumour has probably been put paid by the news that El Shaarawy has fractured his foot and will be out of action for until March.
