Cleverly talk won't go away
There are fresh reports today that Tom Cleverley has turned down the chance to stay with Aston Villa in favour of reuniting with Roberto Martinez at Everton this summer.
The midfielder had a spell under Martinez at Wigan and he almost joined Everton last summer but a late hitch in a proposed loan deal scuppered the move and he joined Villa on a season-long loan instead.
With apparently no future at Manchester United, Cleverely will be a free agent this summer and various outlets, from The Mirror to ESPN's 'sources', suggest his heart is set on Goodison Park.
