Martinez still chasing Ayew
Everton continue to be linked with a move for soon-to-be-out-of-contract Andre Ayew, with the latest suggestions being that Roberto Martinez has spoken with the player about a summer move to Goodison.
The 25 year-old Ghanaian was claimed in January to have held pre-contract discussions with Everton after electing to run his current deal down at Marseille.
Having followed up his goalscoring exploits at the World Cup with impressive displays in the Africa Cup of Nations, Ayew is unlikely to be short of suitors but the Sunday People suggest his £3m-a-year salary demands could be a problem for Everton.
As well as interest from Liverpool, AS Roma are said to be in the hunt for the left-footed wide man.
