Transfer stories to ignore this Sunday
In the absence of any Premier League action and marooned as the Sunday tabloids are between transfer windows, The Daily Star have resorted to dredging up the old Ross Barkley to Man City or Chelsea chestnut, with Everton supposedly "refusing to budge from their £50m valuation" of the 21-year-old.
They're also using Romelu Lukaku's change of agent as an excuse to suggest he is assessing his options on how to get Champions League after Everton's poor season, with Juventus mentioned again as potential suitors.
Meanwhile, Orjan Nyland, linked strongly with the Blues in the January transfer window, had what could only be described as a very "Tim Howard-esque" performance in Norway's 5-1 mauling by Croatia last night. Assuming Roberto Martinez is still interested, it was not a good interview for the number one spot at Goodison.
