Hammers will 'join the race' for Mirallas
West Ham will reportedly join the likes of Tottenham Hotspur in the running to sign Kevin Mirallas this summer.
That's the contention of The Mirror who claim that Sam Allardyce will throw his hat into the ring when the transfer window opens for a player who looks likely to leave Goodison Park sooner rather than later.
Mirallas has indicated his desire for Champions League football next season and with the Blues having fallen well short this term, it's likely he will move on this summer.
Neither Spurs nor the Hammers will be able to offer him a ticket to Europe's gravy train either, though, which makes this a highly unlikely Sunday backpages story.
