Mirallas and Lennon to swap clubs

Kevin Mirallas and Aaron Lennon could swap places this summer with Tottenham in pole position to sign the Belgian and Everton keen on making Aaron Lennon's loan move permanent.

The Telegraph claim that Atletico Madrid have ended their interest in Mirallas over fears, based on his injury record, that he would not be able to balance the demands of La Liga and the Champions League.

The 27 year-old is known to want Champions League football as he approaches the peak of his career but he may have to settle for a mere change in scenery in London if he no longer wishes to stay with Everton or no other suitors emerge.

Lennon, meanwhile, has been doing his prospects of securing a permanent move to Goodison Park with a series of committed and effective performances during the Blues' recent revival in form.

Spurs are reportedly looking for around £7m for Lennon while Mirallas's value is estimated to be closer to £10m.
