Everton could be priced out of Lennon move
Any plans Everton had to sign Aaron Lennon on a permanent deal from Tottenham at the end of the season could be hit if reports that the Londoners value the winger as high as £9m are true.
Recent speculation had it that the 27 year-old, out of favour at White Hart Lane under Maurico Pochettino, could be available for around £6m which would, according to The Guardian put him in Roberto Martinez's price range.
Despite Lennon's good form since joining Everton on loan in January, another £3m on top of that would likely cause the Blues' boss to think again about making him a permanent acquisition at that valuation.
Furthermore, talk that Kevin Mirallas could be involved in a part-exchange swap deal that would take the Belgian to North London has cooled in recent weeks.
