Everton to trial Northern Irish prospect
Crusaders forward Gavin Whyte, just named Northern Ireland's Young Player of the Year, is to undertake a trial at Finch Farm next week according to a report.
Everton scouts were in attendance to watch the 19-year-old score a hat-trick in a 7-3 win over Glenavon in February and look to be following up their interest by inviting him over to run the rule over him.
Should they wish to follow up their interest, the Blues will face competition from Wolves and Celtic who are also reportedly interested in Whyte.
