Obvious Stones-to-United transfer mooted
Manchester United are weighing up a move for John Stones according to a number of the Sunday rags which claim that Loius van Gaal has identified the defender as the man to bolster his defensive options.
Stones, now firmly established as a first-choice central defender at Everton alongside Phil Jagielka, only signed a new deal at Goodison last year so it would take big money to prise him away but the ex-Barnsley man has stressed he is perfectly happy where he is.
The 21 year-old was being linked with Chelsea just a few weeks ago but now the tabloid writers have moved on to trying to push United's supposed interest.
