Everton hold talks with Pellegrini

22/05/2016  0 Comment  [Jump to last]
Manuel Pellegrini has met with Everton to discuss potentially becoming the man to replace Roberto Martinez according to reports.

Dominic King for MailOnline, joined by the Daily Star, claim that the outgoing Manchester City boss has held talks with Farhad Moshiri as the club look to fill the managerial vacancy at Goodison Park.

Pellegrini isn't among the names favoured by Evertonians but the Chilean would be open to the role with the Blues given his location in the northwest and reported desire to stay in the Premier League.

King also suggests that Unai Emery "is admired" by the Goodison hierachy and that the likes of Ronald Koeman and Frank de Boer are on their shortlist of high-profile names.
