Two deadline-day bids rejected

Everton will have to increase their bids for Ludogorets left-back Natanael Pimienta and Và¥lerenga midfielder Sander Berge following reports they have had offers turned down.

25-year-old Pimienta had emerged as a surprise deadline day target but the Bulgarian side are looking for more than £3m for the Brazilian before they will sanction a deal.

And the same appears to go for 18-year-old Berge after his club knocked back a bid of £3.6m according to reports in Norway.
