The Spaniard appeared to be on the outs at Goodison in January after failing to convince Ronald Koeman of his suitability for his Everton team and he was farmed out on loan to AC Milan.
Deulofeu enjoyed a profitable spell at the San Siro and that, combined with his form as captain of Spain U21s, has revived interest in his services. A permanent deal in Milan looks unlikely but reports of interest from AS Roma, who are looking to replace Mohamed Salah, have emerged in the past week.
And speculation continues that Barcelona could re-sign him, taking advantage of a first-option clause in the deal that took him to Everton on a permanent transfer in 2015.
That option to sign Deulofeu for €12m expires at the end of this month but RAC1 report that an announcement confirming the 23-year-old's return to the Nou Camp could come within hours.
