Uruguayan defender a consideration for Everton

| Tuesday, 27 June 2017  0 Comment  [Jump to last]
Everton are keeping tabs on Las Palmas Mauricio Lemos as the club looks to add defensive reinforcements this summer.

The Uruguay U23s centre half has been linked on and off with the Blues in recent weeks after it emerged club scouts had been monitoring his progress.

Lemos has a massive €26m release clause in the contract he signed when he joined Las Palmas from Ruben Kazan last year and that would likely only make him an option for Everton should a move for Burnley's Michael Keane for a similar fee fall through.
