ToffeeWeb poster Danny O’Neill appears to have been unsuccessful in his attempt to gain a place on Everton’s Fan Advosory Board, with the candidates announced for two places up for election this month.
The initial application window for supporters who wanted to join the Fan Advisory Board closed on Saturday 31 May. The final list of candidates was then decided by a shortlisting panel comprising independent members and Evertonians Ellen Loudon (Director of Social Justice and Cannon Chancellor at Diocese of Liverpool) and Frank McKenna (local business leader and founder of Downtown in Business), as well as Fan Advisory Board members Julie Clarke and Mark McKeown, and Dan Kelly representing Everton’s Governance team.
The candidates selected election in the two positions available are:
- Andy Drake
- Austin Smith
- Fawad Munir
- Gary Duggan
- Paul Disley
- Paul Galgey
- Rob Fisher
- Rob Galkoff
Supporters can learn more about the candidates who were shortlisted and why they have put themselves forward by reading the biographies found within the voting form at the Official Everton website.
Once the election closes, the result will be independently verified by the Football Supporters’ Association before being confirmed by the club and Fan Advisory Board in the week commencing Monday 30 June.
