Southampton U18s 2 – 4 Everton U18s
On Wednesday morning, Everton U18s secured a fantastic 4-2 win at Southampton in the U18 Premier League Cup.
Two of the new Academy signings from other clubs got on the scoresheet. Notably, centre-forward Cieran Loney, ex-Scottish league side Partick Thistle and striker Braiden Graham, signed from Northern Ireland’s Linfield. Also amongst the goals were winger Kean Wren and young Welsh centre back, Aled Thomas.
The next fixtures in Group D are against West Ham at home and Nottingham Forest away.
Everton U18s: Lukjanciks, Lambert (50′ Freeman), Van Schoor, Finney, Thomas, Foster (78′ Akarakiri), Wren, Gardner, Loney (78′ Stewart), Graham (68′ Matos), Catesby.
Subs not used: Gospel-Eze.
