Everton U18s 3 – 2 Liverpool U18s
It’s a very late micro-derby victory for Everton U18s on Saturday as they came from behind to defeat Liverpool in added time.
And the Reds took an early lead after just 9 minutes, but the young Blues were right back in it after 20 minutes when that man Braiden Graham popped in the equalizer. However, the local rivals took the lead again before the break.
That’s the way it stayed until the 90 minutes were up, despite a slew of second-half subs… but added time provided redemption for the Young Blues with first Aled Thomas and then Kean Wren getting very late goals to condemn the Reds to a very welcome defeat.
