Oh dear... Sean Dyche's lot having a bit of trouble at Wrexham.

2-0 at half-time... shoulda been 3-0

Michael,

There was a Wrexham fan at my work yesterday (a legit one from Wrexham who coaches here in Kansas City as opposed to all the fake American ones).

He was feeling very confident they'd do a number on Dyche.

Go Wrexham. What a story.

My mate lives in Chester and worked in Wrexham for a while. A right shit hole (his words) but the town has been re vitalized by the success of the football team.

Michael (1),

It looks like Dyche has done a Moyes — ie at the Wolves League Cup tie. He will make a few changes at half-time and put some proper first-team players on.

Will he suffer like Dour Dithering Dave and us!

Yes, Dave, you called it: three changes at the break.

Some more recognisable names coming on.

Nathan Broadhead playing for Wexham, getting the assist for their second goal.

Michael (6),

Three or four strikers came through the Academy in the last few years and went elsewhere. I thought that Broadhead was the best of them and only for persistent injuries would have done a lot better than he has.

He still gets the goals at a decent rate and has good ability in making some.

I read somewhere that we had been forced to 'liquidate' those Academy assets for cash, Dave, but I'm not convinced any of them were really good enough to play for us.

And any cash we got was peanuts really.

Cracking game this. I suppose I might as well say it: Forest/Dyche have done well to get back into this one. We were linked with Hutchinson over the summer. I remember some doubters. Hmm Hutchinson 37.5/Dibling 40?

After that penalty Dibling.

Great finish to the penalty shootout.

The kid Okonkwo is quite the goalie!

Forest knocked out. The way to Wembley opens up for us. We're on the way.

Give us Wrexham next round: four cup games v Wrexham, 4 wins, 19-2 goals aggregate. I can almost feel the final.

Some size that Okonkwo, MK. Twenty-four.

He guessed right for all 5 Forest penalties.

Well played Wrexham... First Cup shock!

Hope we get Oxford away... but I very much doubt we'll get past Sunderland.

That's the spirit Billy. We need more of that.

Wouldn't worry about Billy's predictions Paul, he told us all we would get hammered by Nottingham Forest. Maybe he's trying a bit of reverse psychology?

You're a good man Edward and kind in your 'reverse psychology' point!

Although I did hear that Mr. Shears has sent scores of emails to Le Bris, all telling him that his Sunderland will batter us.

I wouldn't mind another crack at Port Vale, if we beat Sunderland.
