Everton conclude a two-game tour of Germany this weekend against Vfb Stuttgart at the MHPArena.
David Moyes’s side secured a 2-1 win at Hamburg in their first fixture on German soil, as a stoppage-time own goal from Jordan Torunarigha sealed success. Merlin Röhl had earlier opened the scoring for the Toffees on his return to his homeland.
That win was Everton’s fourth fixture of a busy summer, with Stuttgart set to represent a step up in opposition as preparations continue for the Premier League.
Sebastian Hoeneß’ side finished fourth in the Bundesliga last season to secure Champions League qualification, and also reached a second successive DFB-Pokal final.

Christian Norgaard will not feature for Everton with the new recruit expected to link up with the squad upon their return from Germany.
The Danish midfielder joined from Arsenal for a £7m fee earlier this week and will work on his fitness at Finch Farm. He could debut in Everton’s next pre-season game, against Newcastle United next Wednesday at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
Iliman Ndiaye and Nathan Patterson have returned to the group after extended breaks, following their 2026 World Cup involvement. Both will hope to earn their first minutes of the pre-season campaign against Stuttgart.
Jordan Pickford, who reached the semi-finals with England, will join the group upon their return. James Garner remains out with a groin issue.

He has always had his favourite players, who he will shoe horn in despite their deficiencies
