Everton U18s are at home to Newcastle Utd at Finch Farm on Saturday lunchtime in their latest U18 Premier League (North) fixture, surging into a four-goal lead before half-time.
The Young Blues needed to get back to winning ways after the disappointing exit from the FA Youth Cup at the hands of Manchester City, followed by a big home defeat to Derby County. And they showed an excelent inclination to do that with goals from 4 different players before the break.
On the score-sheet were Harry Brookes (12′), Charlie Stewart (17′), Jonathan Nsangou (20′), and Jake Doughty (43′).
The Blues’ prolific scoring did not extend into the second half, with the visitors getting a couple back before the end.
