Brackley Town 1 – 1 Everton U21s
Everton U21s travelled to play at Brackley Town’s St James Park ground on Tuesday night in the National League Cup, kicking off at 7:45 pm. After finally going behind, Luca Davis leveled it up with a header and Everton won the ensuing penalty shoot-out to take the extra point.
The game was available as a live stream on Everton TV. The young Blues put in a decent stint in the first half without threatening in a reasonably competitive encounter where they ended up doing more defending than attacking.
With 10 minutes left to play, George Pickford was finally beaten. But Luca Davis leveled it up with a header 2 minutes before the end and Everton won the ensuing penalty shoot-out to take the extra point.
