Ivory Coast 1 – 0 Scotland
The big question for Evertonians is: Will Nathan Patterson get a game for Scotland as they take on Ivory Coast at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the build up towards their first World Cup Finals in 28 years.
The Everton right-back can’t get any game time for love nor money under David Moyes when he has been named among the substitutes only to remain unused for game after game so far this season.
He played 81 minutes for Scotland in their disappointing loss to Japan when they played at Hampden Park on Thursday. But he has not featured for Everton in the last seven games, with four of them at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. He has made only 3 starts for Everton all season long, coming on for meaningless minutes right at the end of three other games.
Tonight’s match kicks off at 7:30 pm BST and is being shown on BBC 2.
