Everton make the long trip down south to face Bournemouth in the second Premier League game of the season, with fans rocked by the prospect that Harrison Armstrong will be sold. 

The young midfield star, who has become a massive favourite among Everton fans, is in the squad today despite huge rumours to the contrary.

Meanwhile, The Toffees will be looking to maintain the dominant form displayed across the week, with the comfortable 2-0 win against Crystal Palace at Hill Dickinson Stadium starting the season off strong. That was followed by the solid win at Preston in midweek.

Ironic really that we play Bournemouth now, they’ve got Europe and the Thursday/Sunday scenario to deal with, but not yet, in fact it’s us who have played midweek!

Great to see Armstrong in the squad and starting. Him being omitted would have all but confirmed he was going.

On Aznou, it's a good loan for him and us that he will be playing regularly. Surely, that means Everton will be bringing in a LB they have lined up...Whether that be a loan or buy.

I wouldn't read too much into these two starting. That's just Moyes being stubborn. Joyce and Ornstein didn't go with this for not good reason. Still think it's odds on they go.

Armstrong is an Evertonian and won’t be allowed to go.

On NDiaye Moyes stated in his presser that there may be truth in it.

Expect this one to happen plus others in as replacement. My choice would be Yilmaz as an upgrade with change in pocket.

In times when average players are going for £40 million plus our record signing is still Sigurdsson for £45 million 9 years ago.
For a permanent top flight team, in a league awash with never before seen riches you'd have thought that would have been broken by now.

Nigel, yes Armstrong and Moyes will have their own opinions about developments today, but the people negotiating aren’t particularly busy at Bournemouth this afternoon,
ie TFG and their transfer committee.
