Paul Quinn doesn't mince words in a lengthy dissertation on the ownership of Everton FC by The Firedkin Group. He assembles and collates a series of grievances and concerns about the way TFG have behaved toward Everton that all came to a head in the shambolic end to the transfer window a week ago, and contrasts this with the very different treatment given to AS Roma the other big club in the TFG portfolio.
"The Friedkins told us they would show their commitment through actions, not words. Twenty-one months on, they have given us neither the words nor the sight of them. In Rome they write letters and take their seats. Here, they stay away. That is not stewardship. That is contempt.
"They are at liberty to have changed their minds as to maintaining ownership of Everton Football Club. One would think that, as competent business owners, they would withdraw or sell on the best possible terms, allowing fans, employees and the city of Liverpool itself to be grateful for their rescuing intervention in our darkest days.
"They could have left the club, sold to new owners, enhanced their global reputations, even made a profit financially.
"Instead, they’ve chosen to treat us all in a manner that can be summed up in one word...
"Contempt.
"It’s a ludicrous business strategy that damages Everton’s future competitiveness and equally the Friedkins’ reputation.
Be gone, your actions make you not worthy of association with our great club, our city and our fanbase spread globally."

Paul Quinn hold your head in shame for your contempt of we as Everton fans - shear self indulgent, self gratification and negative bile of the worst kind.
Not sure what your motivation is - to create havoc and unrest in our fan base.
No doubt this type of thing is designed to get supporters divided and arguing amongst ourselves.
I certainly have contempt for this type of dysfuctional media behaviour.
The facts are clear, TFG, came in and saved the club, have put us on a sound financial footing that is "Sustainable" in the medium term under the new SCR rules.
The squad has been turned around with a mix of expereince, young talents and a set of progressive talents that have improved performances and potential future player trading and represent a big increase in player values.
The squad from 24/25 to 25/26 is like night and day. We have a squad of more talented, skillful midfild and wide players that are comfortable recieving the ball in pressurised places and keeping continuity.
We have started relatively well and remain unbeaten, if we win our next very winnable home games this week, we will be sitting pretty in a European slot and in the next round of the League cup.
TFG have doen a rather good job in the round and have set us up nicely for future success.
I could go on but we don't need this bile and contempt for those of us blue noses that take pride in the progress we have made under TFG.

Everton now with a 54000 stadia and in the PL doesn't need to rely on silent bellends like this who are here to just rake in cash. If they don't play nice, they need to Foxtrot Oscar. Contempt is exactly the right word, selling Armstrong, one striker. Putting up with Kinnear, and his donuts. As the Esk says, they know how to behave, they are choosing not to. well, I think they've chosen the wrong fanbase if they think they can carry on like this into the future. I'd quite happily hold my nose to relegate Everton than put up with these scumbags.

Roma are sitting on the top of Serie A after the net spend of €133 million so far this year. In contrast, Everton have delivered a net profit of £22 million.
They did an absolute number on Kinnear. Letting him go out to the media on 18th August to forecast that we would be one of the highest spenders in the Premier League, then telling him with 2 weeks of the window left that the club would have to sell to buy.
Given the Premier League is the cash cow with £8.6 billion in revenue generated compared to the €4 billion in Serie A, I assume they simply cannot / will not cough up the investment needed to improve the playing squad markedly.
Hopefully, their attempts to attract investors will result in a sale.
