Leicester City 2 – 3 Everton
The Everton Academy youngsters have travelled to Leicester City’s training ground to take them on in the U18 Premier League Cup today, kicking off at 12 noon GMT.
Another new name on the bench: Bowen Phillips.
It didn’t take long before Kai Hutchison (13′) put Everton ahead. But the home side soon got back into the game and took the lead before half-time.
Everton got back level in the second half when Shea Pita (60′) scored, and the young Blues regained their lead 5 minutes before the end thanks to Francis Boggan (85′).
And that’s how it ends, a great away win for the lads, leaving them top of Group A and outright Group Champions after three straight wins, and a place in the knockout quarterfinals.
