Johnson comes on for Wales with 15 minutes left against Norway

Brennan Johnson was sat on the bench for most of tonight’s Nations League game against Norway at Cardiff City Stadium, but came on for James after 76 minutes.

Norway lost Heggem for a bad foul at the start of the second half, Wales using their advantage to score from the free kick that had been awarded.

Johnson had minimal involvement, making 3 passes and 2 tackles, one which led to a dangerous free-kick near the end as Norway attacked strongly.

In other games, Jake O’Brien came off the bench in the 75th minute of Ireland’s match with Austria, and soon after they let in an equaliser.
