Another notification to Companies House has been picked up by Paul Quinn, who has described this new share issue as a capital injection of £13.8M into Everton FC that took place last month:
On 26 August 2026, Everton Football Club confirmed a new capital raise amounting to £13.8M, with 79,000 new shares issued to the club’s majority shareholders, Roundhouse Capital, at a price of £175 a share. The shares were issued on 27 July 2026.
The most recent share issue brings the total capital injection into Everton by Roundhouse to £386M.
Total shares in issue now stand at 2,499,889 of which 7,969 remain in the hands of minority shareholders
The timing of this capital injection suggests it was to directly bolster Everton’s transfer kitty.
