Everton U21s lose at Rochdale tonight in the National League Cup

Rochdale 1 – 0 Everton U21s

Everton U21s lost at Rochdale on Tuesday night in Group A of the National League Cup at the Crown Oil Arena.

Adam Aznou gets another start for the youngsters with Everton playing in their away strip, Rochdale wearing what looks like a normal blue & white Everton strip.

Rochdale took the lead after the break when a wicked deflection off Gomez’s attempted clearance saw the ball spiral over Pickford’s desperate dive.  

Ebere on as a sub got behind the Rochdale defence but he could not get his shot past the keeper. And the match finished in defeat for the Everton youngsters.
