Everton were finally handed a home draw in the Carabao Cup when they were paired with Burnley in the fourth round of the League Cup.
The Blues avoided the biggest clubs left in the competition and were rewarded for their win over Aston Villa in this evening’s tie with a game at Goodison Park against the newly-promoted Lancashire side.
The full draw was as follows:
- Mansfield Town v Port Vale
- Ipswich Town v Fulham
- Manchester United v Newcastle United
- Bournemouth v Liverpool
- Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers
- West Ham United v Arsenal
- Everton v Burnley
- Exeter City v Middlesbrough
The tie will be played the week beginning 30th October.
