Everton and Nottingham Forest could be looking to try and hijack Callum Hudson-Odoi’s proposed move to Fulham, according to a report.
The Evening Standard claim that the Toffees and the Trees have entered the equation while the Cottagers hesitate over Chelsea’s £8m valuation of the player.
Hudson-Odoi has largely been surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge lately having failed to really break into the first team there after returning from his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.
Fulham are targeting him as a potential attacking midfield addition having seemingly moved on from Demarai Gray while Forest are seemingly linked with every player going.
Everton, meanwhile, might be eyeing 22-year-old Hudson-Odoi as an alternative to Wilfried Gnonto who is proving hugely challenging to lever away from Leeds United who appear resolute in their demands to get £30m for the Italian international.
The talk regarding Hudson-Odoi has been played down by Chris Beesley at the Liverpool Echo, however.
