Everton will take on Fleetwood Town in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, if David Moyes’ men beat Newcastle United this evening.
The last-eight draw was made on Wednesday evening and a trip to Highbury Stadium awaits for the winners of tonight’s fourth-round tie. Fleetwood caused a huge upset earlier in the week, as the League Two side eliminated Arsenal. The Fishermen came out on top in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw with the Premier League champions, and are the lowest-ranked side in the quarter-final draw.
Bradford City are the only other Football League representatives and have been drawn away at Manchester City. Elsewhere, Crystal Palace host Sunderland, and Liverpool play Bournemouth at Anfield.
