FOOTBALL ECHO | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Football Echo, that stalwart of journalistic excellence which
is affectionately known as The Pink, should not be confused
with the Financial Times, is available on subscription, along with
the Daily Post and the Liverpool Echo.
This Merseyside tradition is printed on priceless pink newsprint every Saturday
evening immediately after the local matches (or not, thanks to Sky TV).
It includes a column by an Evertonian (currently Neville Southall) and a two-page spread on The Blues. The historic snippets of the past are once again featured as part of The Blues spread. Everton matches from the past alternate in a Past Memories feature. If you miss the unique pleasure of screaming at Tommy Smith, and don't mind seeing way too much space dedicated to those loveable Reds, then this is for you. If you live abroad, it can be air-mailed directly to you. It is even available during the summer!!! The Football Echo Subscription prices last season (in pounds sterling) were:
