Steven Schumacher has done everything possible at Academy level, but is
finding it hard to make that critical final step up into the Premiership.
He signed a professional contract with the Club but found regular first-team
opportunities limited.
He went on trial with Oldham Athletic in February 2004 and played in a
couple of reserves games. This was followed by a one-month loan deal
with Oldham Athletic in March 2004, but he bizarrely never played a single senior game.
He returned to Everton only for David Moyes to list him as one of ten
players released at the end of the 2003-04 season. He never played for
the senior Everton team. and joined Bradford City on a permanent
basis in 2004. |
