Rooney, United... yawn
26 Jun - Seizing on rumours posted here at ToffeeWeb and on the People's Forum that young Wayne doesn't want to move to London, The Times report that Manchester United are confident of landing the teenager this summer, despite his broken foot, because it means he'll be able to stay in the northwest. Isn't The Times supposed to be above this kind of thing?

Simone Perrotta

Kenyon: No Rooney bid at £50m
24 Jun - The Sun read between the lines of quotes by Chelsea executive Peter Kenyon and suggest that the Stamford Bridge club will offer Everton £30m for the teenager.
